Donate
All donations go towards enhancing our services to help us connect more people across New Zealand. There are several ways you can support GrandFriends with a financial donation.
Individual donations
If you can, we’d love for you to make a donation to support our work.
You can make a one-off donation or choose to donate regularly.
If you would rather donate via bank transfer, please email info@grandfriends.nz. We’ll let you know the details and organise a receipt.
Make a bequest
We appreciate that your will is a private and confidential document, but if you have decided to leave us a bequest, we would like to know so that we can acknowledge your generous support.

Volunteer
Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Do you love connecting people and creating meaningful relationships? If so, we’d love for you to join our mission as a GrandFriends Ambassador!
What You’ll Do
Delivering Information Packs: You’ll connect with local communities, delivering GrandFriends information to a variety of audiences, including older adults, family-oriented groups, care homes, and other community hubs. Your outreach will help share our mission with both older adults and families, supporting meaningful connections across generations.
Engaging in Conversation: You’ll chat with a variety of people about how they can connect through GrandFriends, whether they’re older adults looking to engage with families or families looking to engage with seniors.
Supporting Sign-Ups: You’ll assist those interested in signing up, including helping them navigate the process if they’re unfamiliar with using technology.
Making a Lasting Impact: By spreading the word and offering support, you’ll help people of all ages rediscover the joys of connection and community through GrandFriends, fostering enriching relationships that bridge generations.
About You
You care deeply about community and making a positive impact.
You’re friendly and approachable and love connecting with people.
You have great communication skills and feel comfortable delivering information in person.
You’re happy to provide basic assistance with technology, ensuring everyone who wants to sign up can do so easily.
You have a bit of time each week to help, and you’re excited to make a real difference.
